Free Health Checks for Older Cates -
We offer free nurse health checks for older cats as part of our “BeActive” initiative.
Diseases such as diabetes (high blood sugar), hyperthyroidism (an overactive thyroid gland – people usually suffer from an underactive thyroid gland), and kidney disease commonly occur in cats over ten years old.
The majority of cats over this age also have dental disease. If these conditions are picked up early we have a better chance of treating or controlling them and maintaining your cat’s quality of life.
The initial free consultation will be with a veterinary nurse, but if she finds any major issues she might suggest dental treatment, a blood sample, or a consultation with a vet.
Just phone up to make an appointment with one of our nurse, Gemma, on 01684 560940
[Unfortunately, you can’t make nurse appointments on-line at the present time.]
