Ruth graduated from the University of Nottingham veterinary school in 2013, having already obtained her PhD in human bone physiology from the University of Cambridge.
Ruth has worked in several veterinary practices throughout Worcestershire, finally joining White House Vets in 2021. She initially joined us as a locum, but felt so at home she decided to stay and take on the role of clinical lead. She particularly enjoys working with "exotic" pets, from rabbits and hamsters through to snakes and parrots, and is doing a postgraduate certificate focusing on exotics. Ruth is at her happiest in practice doing soft tissue surgery.
Ruth has two Shih Tzus "Buddy and Roscoe", who give her plenty of practice at treating allergies. In her spare time she enjoys Ceroc dancing, acrylic painting, skiing and DIY, and you're most likely to see her up a ladder fixing something on her house in Malvern.
