Richard Chamings

Veterinary Surgeon

Richard Chamings - Veterinary Surgeon
Richard Chamings BVM&S MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

Richard founded White House Vets in 1985 and you will still find him at the surgery one day a week.  Prior to that Richard worked in veterinary practices in the West Country after qualifying from the Royal (Dick) Veterinary College, Edinburgh, in 1974. He is on the reserve team for occasional work in his retirement!

He lives with his wife on Castlemorton Common, and has four grown-up daughters. One of his main hobbies is walking the Malvern Hills with his dogs, Connie, a Labrador Cross, and Bertie, a Miniature Wire-haired Dachshund, who keeps up very well but sometimes likes to be carried! He also has two cats, Willow and Woody. He enjoys longer distance walking, having recently walked the Two Moors Way in Devon for charity, Offas Dyke on the Welsh Border, and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

He also keeps bees, plays bridge, likes the odd pint of beer, and loves to drive his Morgan.
