Pet Photo Competition





Winner: Springer Spaniel called “Bo” running out of the sea



The winners are below ...


Thanks to all 135 Pet Club Members who submitted their photos before the closing date, 31st May 2017 and to the Malvern Gazette Photographic Department for judging from an exceptionally stong and often very amusing field.


First prize of £100 goes to Dave Roberts from Leigh Sinton for his photo (right) of Springer Spaniel 'Bo' running out of the sea.


Second prize of £50 goes to Seonaid Teal from Malvern Wells for 'I'm think I'm stuck' her young German Shepherd dog called 'Jackson' below..


Runners Up: Doreen Bell from Upper Pendock with 'Tia in the flowers', her West Highland White Terrier; Ralph Whitehead and Deb Banks from Stoke Lacy with 'This is my bucket' featuring two geese; Lorraine Rich from Leigh Sinton with 'Lexie in the tree'.

Terms and conditions


The prizes consist of: First Prize – a £100 voucher for services available at White House Vets valid for 12 months, Second Prize - a £50 voucher for services available at White House Vets valid for 12 months. Entries close at midnight on 31 May 2017 and must be submitted electronically by email to info@whitehousevets.com headed ‘Pet Club Photo Competition’. The submitted photo must have been taken by a current White House Pet Club member of their own pet.


White House Vets will retain your contribution and may choose to display it on a website. White House Vets may also publish your contribution in other media. White House Vets reserves the right to remove contributions that it considers to be contrary to the spirit of the terms and conditions of submission, including submissions it considers to be objectionable or that violate copyright. The White House Vets reserves the right to edit and alter submissions.


By submitting your contribution you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.


By submitting any contribution to Pet Club Photo Competition (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) you agree to grant White House Vets a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and world-wide licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution and to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution, and in accordance with privacy restrictions.


White House Vets may select images for inclusion in the White House Vets calendar.


By submitting any contribution you agree White House Vets may use the material for any purpose and in any way it chooses, including, but not limited to developing, manufacturing and marketing products. Any contribution you provide shall be non-confidential.


By submitting your images you agree the Malvern Gazette can use images supplied to the White House Vets Pet Club Photo Competition to showcase entries in media, public relations and on social media and in any subsequent public relations, promotion and media for the White House Vets.


Any contribution must be your own original work; it must not infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights.


If your contribution features other people who are recognisable you are responsible for ensuring you have their permission for the contribution to be treated according to the uses set out above. Contributions featuring children under 16 can only be accepted if you are the parent or guardian or have sought and obtained appropriate prior written permission from the child’s parent or guardian.


By accepting these terms and conditions you grant permission for the contribution to be treated according to the uses set out above. You agree to waive any moral rights in your contribution for the purpose of its submission to and publication as White House Vets Pet Club Photo Competition on the website and the other purposes specified above.


Publication of your contribution will be at White House Vets’ sole discretion. White House Vets reserves the right to edit, adapt, move or delete any contribution accepted. We will try and credit authors where possible but may not always do so.


Save as expressly provided for in these terms White House Vets shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage or for any costs, claims or demands of any nature whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of the use of your contribution or any part thereof.


These Terms and Conditions (as amended from time to time) constitute the entire agreement between you and White House Vets concerning your contribution to White House Vets Pet Club Photo Competition.
